Harvesting for Health is an initiative focused on seasonal gardening, nutrition education and building a connection to food. It offers hands-on learning activities and practical tools to help communities learn how to grow fruits and vegetables and build lifelong healthy eating habits. Hosts register to receive ready-to-use materials that make it easy to lead events and educational activities. Participants don’t need to register.

How It Works

  1. Organizations register to become Harvesting for Health hosts. Participants don’t need to register.
  2. Hosts receive gardening materials, program instructions and educational resources.
  3. Hosts conduct gardening and nutrition events during the initiative period.
  4. Hosts complete the survey after activities.

  • Coordinator instructions.
  • Survey links and promotional tools.
